Blockradar ensures your funds remain accessible even in the most extreme scenarios through a combination of enterprise-grade infrastructure redundancy and user-controlled backup capabilities. In particular, there are two main categories of data that we consider to be critical: Organization data: Core data within your organization, including details for users, encrypted seed phrases, derivation paths, transaction history, API keys, etc. Seed Phrase Data: Encrypted seed phrases used to generate private keys and derive addresses for transaction signing and fund access. For organization data, our persistence strategy is similar to a traditional web application. Data is encrypted using AES-256-GCM, stored redundantly across geographies, and consistently backed up and exported to our disaster recovery accounts. For seed phrase data, we encrypt the seed phrases using advanced AES-256-GCM encryption with random IV and salt-based key derivation. The encrypted seed phrases are stored across geographically distributed locations with multiple layers of redundancy. In the unlikely event of a complete system failure, users can use the exported seed phrase backups to recover their funds independently.

User-Controlled Backup System

Blockradar provides you with complete control over your disaster recovery through seed phrase backups you can export via the dashboard security page. Critical Points:
  • Immediate Backup Required: We strongly advise backing up your seed phrases immediately after creating your account
  • Complete Independence: Your seed phrases provide access to all funds outside Blockradar
  • Extreme Caution: If exposed, there is nothing Blockradar can do to recover your funds
  • Secure Storage: Store backups with maximum security precautions
Critical: We strongly advise backing up your seed phrases immediately after creating your account. Store them securely offline. If your seed phrases are compromised, there is nothing Blockradar can do to recover your funds.
